Highrise Concrete Forming
Cast-in-place forming for residential and mixed-use towers — core walls, columns and suspended slabs, cycled floor-by-floor to keep your build climbing.

From deep foundations and parkades to tower forming and finishing, Fintry Contracting has delivered precision structural concrete across the Okanagan Valley for nearly three decades.
Who we are
Fintry Contracting Ltd. is the Okanagan's specialist in structural concrete and highrise construction. Established in 1995, we've spent nearly thirty years refining highrise concrete forming, parkade forming and foundational work across Kelowna and the wider valley.
We deliver precision-engineered solutions for complex projects — robust retaining walls, suspended slabs, shear walls and the specialized structural concrete that a building quietly depends on. Every pour is custom-tailored to the site, the soil and the drawings in front of us.
What we build
One crew handles the structure from the ground up — so the load path stays consistent and accountable from the first footing to the final deck.
Cast-in-place forming for residential and mixed-use towers — core walls, columns and suspended slabs, cycled floor-by-floor to keep your build climbing.
Suspended slabs, ramps, columns and shear walls for below- and above-grade parkades, formed to carry load and drain exactly as engineered.
Footings, grade beams and foundation walls built for Okanagan soils — the load path under everything, set true before the first floor goes up.
Cast-in-place and engineered retaining walls that hold back grade on sloped Okanagan lots, with the drainage and reinforcement detailing they demand.
Columns, shear walls and suspended decks placed and finished to spec — the structural concrete that carries the building, done by one accountable crew.
Condo and apartment structures formed on a predictable cycle, so trades behind us can plan around pours that land when we say they will.
How we work
Highrise concrete sets the pace for the whole job. Our process is built to keep your cycle predictable, your engineer informed and your dates honest.
We walk the drawings and the site, flag the constraints early, and return a clear, line-itemed estimate you can build a schedule around.
Formwork, rebar and pour sequencing are planned with your engineer of record before a single panel is set, so the field has no surprises.
Our crews form, place reinforcement and pour to engineered tolerances — every level inspected and signed off before it carries load.
We strip, finish and clean up to a tidy, square structure, then hand the level to the trades behind us ready to keep moving.
Why Fintry
Concrete is the one trade the rest of the build can't route around. These are the things that make ours dependable.
Plumb columns, true slabs, square cores. We build to the numbers on the drawing — not close enough — because everything above depends on it.
Highrise concrete is unforgiving work. Our crews run to a documented safety program so the schedule never comes at the cost of the people on it.
A general contractor plans the whole job around the concrete cycle. We protect that cycle so the trades behind us can trust our dates.
Foundations through topping-out, you deal with the same Fintry team — not a chain of subs — so accountability never gets handed off.
Where we work
From Lake Country we mobilize crews up and down the valley. If your project sits between Vernon and Summerland, we can get a forming crew to it.
10850 Okanagan Centre Rd E, Lake Country, BC V4V 1K2. Our yard and office sit central to the corridor, so site visits and estimates don't wait on traffic.
